What are you waiting for?

There is so much kingdom building to do and so little time. What are you waiting for? The world is hungry for the living bread, it is the mission of the church to take the bread to the hungry. We have heard enough word and we have planned beyond planning. We need to get it together and be about our father's business. Some of you may be dealing with fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear. Others may be doubting the mind of God. Is there anything too hard for God? The church must go outside the four walls and reach the lost and the hurting. We can not be shy when it comes to the work of God. We have to be prepared and ready for the challenge. The world knows more about what we should be doing, then we do. What are we waiting for? Is it a wave of revival to breakout? Is it the timing of what Joel the prophet spoke of? Believe it or not, that time is now. Now is the day of salvation. We can not put off for tomorrow the things that we need to do today. We must stop looking at others and thinking that maybe they will get up and do it. We must be ready to go now. Many people love to sing the song, "If I can help somebody". What are you waiting for? Your chance to help somebody is now.

We must become a transition person. What is that? Well let me tell you. A transition person is someone who will break the trend and challenge the status quo. Tradition means nothing to them and they are focused on the goal. Status quo in Latin means the mess we're in. That is the heart of a transition person, to come out of the mess. A negative tendency that has run through your family for generations can stop with you. You are a transition person - a link between the past and the future, your own change can affect many, many lives downstream. What are you waiting for? Haven't you held up enough people already? Haven't you hindered yourself long enough?

Come out of your shell and change the way you are thinking. Rise up to the task set before you and reach heights you've only dreamed of. This is the time to make your move. This is the Kairos, the special timing of God. Move forward and keep your eyes on the prize. Forget the things which are behind you and press towards the mark. If you won't do it, who will? If you won't say it, who will? If you won't go, who will? If you don't stop it, who will? What are you waiting for? I know that I keep asking you the same question, but think about it. I use to wait for others, being the youngest of six children; I was used to waiting. One day I got tired and I sought the Lord to find out just what my destiny in life was. It was far beyond sitting and watching others, and complaining about how we were getting no where. I had a mission and I knew that my life and the lives of the next generation was dependent upon me making a move. I was ready and I did it. Was it rough? Was it hard? Was it dissappointing? Yes, it certainly was, but face it - sitting and doing nothing wasn't taking me anywhere fast. I was moving and finally doing something worthwhile. I was changing my life and helping others reach their potential. I got tired of waiting.

How do you really feel inside? What are your dreams and thoughts? What are your plans for your future, not to mention your family? Look around you, are you really satisfied? Are you really fulfilled? Is your life all that you hoped it would be? If you died today, could you rest in peace knowing you fought a good fight? If these questions are making you think and stirring up your deepest emotions - then stop right now, take your hands off the mouse, sit back and just look around you for one minute. Is this where your life ends? If not - what are you waiting?

May the peace and blessings of the Almighty God be upon you.
